A retail group within the FMCG sector is seeking a Junior Financial Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounting function across two entities and supporting key financial processes in a dynamic environment. The position will be based in Lynnwood, Pretoria.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage the accounting records for two entities
Perform reconciliations, including supplier and creditor accounts
Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Work on an accounting system integrated with retail operational systems
Provide general financial and administrative support
Collaborate with a small finance team, including one support staff member

Minimum Requirements

Relevant finance or accounting qualification (degree/diploma preferred)
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within FMCG or retail
Strong reconciliation and bookkeeping skills
Experience with accounting systems
Understanding of payroll processes
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Additional Information

This is an on-site role based in Lynnwood, Pretoria (no remote work option)
The position does not require a CA qualification
