OPERATIONAL FINANCIAL MANAGER – CA(SA)

A leading organisation is looking for a young, hands-on Operational Financial Manager (CA(SA)) to take ownership of financial performance, reporting, controls and commercial support across the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead monthly management reporting, financial analysis and variance reporting
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Partner with operational leadership to improve profitability, cost control and working capital
- Oversee the integrity of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Strengthen financial controls, governance and audit readiness
- Identify and implement process, reporting and system improvements
- Provide financial input into pricing, tenders, contracts and commercial decisions
- Lead, develop and support the finance team
REQUIREMENTS
- CA(SA) qualification – essential
- 2 – 5 years post article experience
- Strong operational finance and management accounting experience
- Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis capability
- Commercially minded with strong business partnering skills
- Experience with financial controls, reporting and process improvement
- Strong leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
