An upmarket student residence and lifestyle restaurant in Brooklyn, Pretoria is seeking a creative, social-media-driven Content & Community Coordinator to work alongside the Marketing & Brand Manager.
If you live on Instagram and TikTok, understand trends before they trend, and love engaging with people online and in person — this role is for you.
Role Overview
This role is hands-on and content-heavy. You will be responsible for daily content creation, real-time engagement, and building an online community that makes this student residence the most desirable place to live.
You’ll capture the vibe, the events, the restaurant culture, and the wellness journey — and turn it into scroll-stopping content.
Key Responsibilities

Create daily photo, video and short-form content

Manage and grow social media platforms

Engage consistently with followers and respond to messages/comments

Capture on-site events, activations and lifestyle moments

Support restaurant promotions and foot traffic campaigns

Assist with wellness app content and student engagement initiatives

Work closely with the Marketing Manager to execute campaigns

Monitor trends and suggest creative campaign ideas
Requirements

Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and youth culture

Confident in content creation (Reels, short-form video, basic editing)

Energetic, people-oriented and proactive

Comfortable being on-site and interacting with students daily
